Hello everyone....

I am in the market to replace my wife's camera. Her old camera is a Sony Cyber-shot. It is old and sometimes does not work. Doing some looking around, I think I would like to get her a DSLR camera. I'm not stuck on a name brand, I'm just trying to get the most for our money. She takes pics of my race car and others while we are at the track, 1/4 mile drag. She also works at a day care place and takes tons of pics of the kids. Also she is way into nature and loves to takes pics of that stuff.

I would love to hear what everyone has to say about what brand and model you think I should be looking at????

I'm hoping to stay around the $300 mark.

Everyone has their favorite brand and just about every brand name makes good dslrs.
You won't get a good one for 300 dollars and also should consider you'll need lens(s) and stuff.
