    Hello everybody!

I'm not sure this is the right place, but I want to say "hello" to all of you here!
As a child I was amazed to see the photos 'appear' in my father's dark room.
That's how my hobby started. Hope to learn from you, so please comment my photos.

I wonder just how many Canuckleheads we have around these here parts? I can think of four. Five if you count the fact that PJ once lived in Canadia for a spell.

Hello everybody! I also don't know if I am in the right place. I thought I would say Hi, instead of sneaking arround in the shadows. I am a real rookie but I love it and will keep
snapping shots. I hope to learn from all of you too.

    Re: Hello everybody!

The best way to learn is to start posting photos. You can post them here in the ViewFinder if you just want share, oor you can post them in the Photo Critque Forum for more serious advice. You can also post then the Photo Gallery and use it to hotlink your pics to the forums.

    Welcome aboard!

Me too, to be honest. I decided to get into photography because I'm a Photoshop junkie that absolutely loves photomanipulation. But since I bought my D50 two weeks ago, I haven't even thought of manipulation from being so consumed with lighting, shutter speeds, figuring out what ISO settings work best for what I'm doing etc.. But I have planned out my next several paychecks so that I could try to get the funds for a new lense (and maybe even a 35mm film camera, lol)

    Re: Hello everybody!

Hello LadyM, BMoore and Stillsky...Welcome to PR. I can personally attest that this is a great place to learn. Everyone here is more than happy to help and to teach. They have taught me so much in the past 9 months that I've been on that in my photography course, I am bored because the great people here have already taught me most of it. hahaha...I'll be looking forward to seeing all of your works, and don't be afraid to post anything as the people here are all very positive and knowledgable.
