Hello...

Just thought I'd say hi.

I'm a beginner photographer, and found this forum when searching for information about digital cameras.
My senior year of highschool I took a photography class, but I have forgotten most of what I know since it was seven years ago.
I still own my Minolta maxxum stsi, but I rarely use it. Film & developing cost lots of money! If I had room for my own darkroom, I'd use it more, but unfortunately that's not the case. Lately I've been using my point&shoot Sony Cybershot...but I really hate how restricted its use is. So, beginning today, I decided I'm going to shop around for a much nicer digital camera...so I may be frequenting these boards (first to figure out what I want, then to relearn how to use a camera properly!)

So...yeah...nice to meet ya. :)

for the past...oh....month or so, i kicked-in my activity here.... and although i did find and register with other forums....none were as helpful and great as this one is... i do feel as part of the family :D so....yeah...like WesternGuy said...post away!

Nice to have you aboard. Hope you find this to be as welcoming a community of shutterbugs as i have over the last few years. Plenty of help available and lots of opinions on equipment. We have avid posters that use every thing from a small P&S to the latest pro equipment. Browse the forums and check out the gallery and use the reviews when you find camera you think you like. Use the site and have fun with photography.
