    Hello!

Hi everyone, my name is Jen and I'm brand new to the forums. I've always been into photography but I am just now getting into taking my own pictures.

Any helpful hints to help me on my way would be very appreciated, thanks!

    Re: Hello!

You will learn a lot from the black and white class and I strongly urge anyone to take one. You will learn all steps of the photography process from developing your negs to to printing to editing. It all becomes useful when you get to digital because some the important aspects carry over. Welcome and make your yourself at home...

Welcome! Those are both nice cameras. Most of us I think use both p&s and SLR cameras. They both have their special uses.

Make sure to post some reults from your b&w class!

    Re: Hello!

Welcome to PR, hope to see a lot more of you and your work here. That b&w class is a great idea, I'm sure you are going to learn a lot and make your whole photography experience that much more enjoyable.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
