    Blue Morning in Alabama

I took this at 300mm on my a77 so it was more like 450mm. I took it with a Sony 70-300mm G series lens. This is one amazing lens as in large print I can make out nails on the post holding the tin top. I had to be a good 200 yards away. Wow.
I forgot and shot in jpeg so this has no Photoshop, except crop and border, and almost no Lightroom work done to it.

    Hello Greg:

Very nice! That's a definite "keeper" for sure...

Glad that the "G" lens is working out for you...

Looking to many more photos using it, please take more.

    Thanks for sharing,

    Have a nice day...

Thanks all, yes Frog it's pretty close. This was a couple of minutes before the sun came up looking more south.

    Greg,
I don't reply to all of your wonderful shots, but please know I'm one admirer of your talent.
A sister-in-law lived in Gaylesville several years ago and we made a few trips and got to see lake Weiss. Wish I was closer.
Also had two sons attend Berry. Always enjoyed visits to your "stomping ground."

I'll be looking for your next masterpiece.

    Thanks for all your pictures.

    Hello Greg:

Do you have threads / posts with photos using your a77 and
your Carl Zeiss (Sony A Mount) Lens: CZ 16-80 (or is it 16-50mm)?

    Thanks,

    Have a nice day...

I am not sure Ed. I'll try and use it a little more and post something. It's a Carl Ziess being a good lens is a given. It is certainly a light weight compared to some.
