Happy Thanksgiving Day to all who celebrate this special day. I have so many things - and people - to be grateful for. Let me just say that one of my blessings is the PR community! Most of what I know about photography comes from all the wonderful people at PR. I've been coming here for probably 7-8 years now, and I treasure all the friends I've made during the years. Some of these friends have passed away - the most recent was MrFitz. Some friends haven't posted for a long time, others have returned after being away - Penny and Gene. Some are brand new - and I hope you all will stick around PR for a long time.

Thank you all for your help, advice, encouragement, support, critiques, sense of humor, and for brightening many of my days! And last but not least, thanks for your wonderful photos - and for sharing your photography gifts and talents with us

Enjoy your turkey (or whatever) everyone. Enjoy your day - and I hope we get some great shots posted here! :thumbsup:

I have lots to be thankful for my family is number one on the list closely followed by the wonderful friends I have meet through this community of thoughtful giving photographers. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

And just in case I needed a reminder, the recent tragedy of the Mumbai terrorist attacks in India puts my petty problems in perspective. My heart goes out to all the victims and those affected by the senseless acts of violence.
