Oh man, I had no idea there was still work to be done. I'm sure we'll all be pulling for you on the 26th. I know I will.

You've made it through so much that I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say I'm confident that you'll get through this, too. Here's a hoping the surgery is a complete success and that you'll be back stronger than ever.

Thanks PJ, Dray, Gary, I would be lying if I told you I wasn't scared. The Dr at Emory is about the only one in these parts that will do a surgery like this. I hope to have a couple of shots put back to post during my recovery.

Just opened this thread again and saw your latest post about a follow up surgery. Sorry that you are having to go through another invasive procedure. I know I for one will be pulling for you and keeping you in my daily thoughts and prayers. Your internet friendship and your inspiring images mean a lot to me, I look forward to the day you can put this whole terrible part of your life behind you for good.

    Greg,

I don't know if you will see this before you leave for the hospital for your surgery Friday. I just wanted you to know that you will be in my prayers all day tomorrow and Friday.. Tomorrow is a special day of celebration in the Catholic Church. We celebrate the "Annunciation" which is the day that the Angel appeared to Mary to announce that she will be the mother of Jesus. There will be special prayers and Masses, so I will have a special day and opportunity to pray for you all day tomorrow and Friday. And I will continue to pray for a quick recovery.

I know many others have said they will be thinking about you, and praying for you, too. God bless you, Brother! Please let us know as soon as you can - how you're doing.

Greg, I am new to this site and have not had the pleasure to interact with you (and most other regular contributors here) a lot yet, but i truly hope you get better very soon and dont have to deal with hospitals for a long time. You never want to hear about something like this happening to anybody let alone to a member of the community who is as well respected and appreciated as you.
You will be in our prayers.

Thank you LIz, it was just over a year ago that you, Aaron, Paula, Frog, Paul, PJ, OT, Peter, Dray and soooo many others held my hand through the fears and trials of Greg's injuries. I will never forget it! Btw, Greg bought me an Olympus E-510 for Christmas so I plan to get a few lessons during his recovery period. I will be posting hopefully before long. I have much to learn!
    God bless, NJ
