They share the washing and feeding, the kittens don't seem to mind which mum is doing the feeding as long as the milk is coming :)

Oh my goodness.......what beautiful cats.......and of course the kittens. They are really gorgeous......thanks for posting the link.

Well I don't have a pet unless you count the mouse that lives in the basement. But I do have some Grand-pets. The first is Samson a Boston that lives with my daughter in Nashville and second is Marty a pit that resides on the ranch in Texas with my son. The cats name is Cream and his job is to keep the mice out of the feed out by the corral in Texas.

Well here is Cassie my part Rotwieler and part Pitbull and Hermy the cat in a rare "next to each other shot".as Hermy normaly avoids Cassie. Cassie looks so innocent here, but she is far from it. I got home tonight from football and she tore up a garbage bag and yesterday she chewed up my Nextel phone :mad2:

They are sooooooo cute! Most of them look quite a bit alike. I don't know how you tell them apart. And how did you get them to go into their own "homes."? Nice shot btw.

    Ps. ...
    Pulled the cat picture.

Though my family enjoys the photo... in hindsight, not a good idea to put it up here. Thanks to whoever put out the warning out about this.

Here are my two children. I got them two years ago from Sled Dog Rescue in Clarksville, Tn. I have to point out that 2 dogs from that rescue went straight to disney for "8 Below". My dogs love watching it.

    Hi Karen,

Can I ask how big Brock is? I've got 2 Mini Schnauzer's and just wondered how much more a Standard might be. Don't you love Schnauzers? :)

Not mine, But belongs to a lady friend. Her name is Yoda (Cat's, not lady friend.), because when she was young, her ears were "huge". As you can see, she grew into them. ;)
Shot with a Pentax ME, using Kodak BW400cn in existing light. Lens used was an SMC Pentax M F/1.7, @ F/2.8 I think.

    Keep Away
Their favorite game, keep away/tug of war. They'll all three grab a hold of the rope and tug on it for a while then one of the three will steal it and run with it. Believe it or not the little white dog gets his fair share of steals.

Use the force, young OBie, not the meter :)

Seriously, your camera's meter is going to try to give your picture an average exposure.
So if you show a black dog to your meter it's going to come out grey.
Or a black cat may come out shades of brown, revealing the tabby shadowing that's normally only visible in bright sun.

So don't be afraid to under-expose from what your meter says, to keep the coat black.
