    Got my D90 out today

I got out my Nikon D90 with a Nikon 70-300VR lens out today for a change and took this shot while my mom was feeding the birds, Jeff

    Looks like it still works.
Wonder when I'll think I HAVE to upgrade from my D80.

I've got that lens, and love it. Have used it on my D5000 at races, air shows, and at the park for critters.

Nice pic! Got him from just a bit above, and banked toward you. Cool!

It just proves that it really is the person behind the camera that takes the photo. Brilliant shot.

Re: Got my D90 out today

    Nice shot.

I'm still delighted with my D300 (which is the equivalent of your D90).

And I still use my D200 (which is the equivalent of Frog's D80). In good light I can't tell the difference between the D200 and the D300. In poor light - there's much more noise on the D200 and 1600 ISO is rather limited. I use it for anything risky (like holidays).

I always keep two DSLR's. If the current one has a problem - I have the second one to fall back on. For really important events (weddings) I even go out with both bodies just to be sure.
