    Google+ and images vs Facebook.

From my brief look into it this evening, I've been happy to discover that image uploading is much better with Google+ than it is with Facebook. You have a 1 gigabyte monthly limit, the images you upload can be up to 16 megapixels, the images that are uploaded are not compressed a second time (as it is with facebook), and the exif remains intact, even part of the interface.

Anybody else try it out yet? I still haven't found out how to copy the image source location to hotlink, if its even possible.

I tried it last week, looks like it went straight to a Picasa gallery at first.
So maybe Google are bringing together parts of their systems to make a larger platform?

I dont know that I understand it right, because it looks like you only get to see the FULL deal when you exit the google+ interface and enter picasa's gui. But, viewing it from google+, it seems to scale to the moniters resolution. Oh well, its still in early stages, we'll see how they refine the process and the features. Its at least certain though, that it outdoes facebook on image quality.

Facebook has better gallery ordering and captioning in-app, but I haven't gone out to Picasa to see what I can do to a Google+ gallery outside Google+
