How to tell the most experienced shooter in a group? They have the least amount of toys on them.

    nice.

personally I don't care for the face on the guy in number 2, but it's definatly a great moment, and not the traditional angle for a shot like this. nice "work".

I've found my new playground for biking and shooting. All I need now is some bikers who will ride the good stuff. My new riding buddy showed me a boulder spine move that Wade Simmons said was too insane. then a local kid stepped up and nailed it. Not to be out done Wade peddaled off to a huge gap to wall ride. and this is just one spot in the huge park. I can't wait to shoot this place.

speaking of non-traditional, have you seen "The Collective" yet? best mtb vid i've seen to date. Serling Lorance was the photo guy for the film and the mind set of the directors was to involve movie, photo, and riders into the "collective" creative direction of the film.

I can really see the infulence of Serling. in the bonus material, there's a slide show of his shots.

I just watched the Collective this week, I was pretty impressed, and that's saying a lot considering how borred I get watching most videos. It didn't have the usual ADD-MTV editing style that's become so prevalent these days. I enjoyed the fact it wasn't shot digital too, it was interesting to note the noticeable difference. Sterl did a great job with it!

    those loooooong shots were great.

in the bonus stuff there is a clip from the time one of the riders turned on the 16mm camera that was attached to his helmet. It scared him at bit I think.

I have! Loved It! Bought It!

I saw "The Collective" when it came here. LOVED IT! I even bought the DVD.
Sterling Lorence seems to be setting the benchmarch for images like this..
Seeing the film was very inspiring to me, as it was I am sure to the both of you.
In a way, seeing it has caused me to see thing a little differently.

Good luck back there Bri, can't wait to see some photos from there!
