Going though old stuff - clouds

I've seen some of your other shots like this - weather related stuff with a man-made object in there for a sense of scale (thinking of the stop sign in snow, for one). In weather guide books (yes, I am a geek) they have stuff like that, but your shots are always so much more artistic. Really enjoy them - could be a series...

Thanks Steve! I don't think of stuff like that when I shoot, but I think you might have a point. Going through stuff I am starting to see stuff that together would make several smallish bodies of work that I could show.

Maybe that's a good thing! Pick up a guide to weather (ok, an explaination - I read stuff like this to know what's happening around me when I'm out kayaking) and you'll see what I mean. Scientists don't always make good photographers... They're just going for a visual record of the weather event. And yes, I think you're on to a display here...
