Astronomers use 200mm camera lenses to discover new planet

Hey Speed beat ya to it! ;)

The article's kinda boring to read. But basically professional and amateur astronomers working together have a discovered a new planet outside our solar system circling a star 600 light-years away. The telescope used was made using two 200mm camera lenses attached in such a way as to resemble "binoculars."

The brand of the lenses was not disclosed. But I think we all know which camera manufacturer makes optics good enough to discover a planet ;)
