    Track Meet Out Takes

Here are a few out takes from a resent track meet I was shooting. They are not actually sports pics so I thought I'd run them by you folks here on Viewfinder. When ever I am shooting an event I'm aways keeping my eyes open for interesting situation or picture opportunities aside from the action on the field. Hope you like these out takes.

Nice set of outtakes here Larry. Really like the one of everyone waiting on the pole vault. All the different angles and colors of the poles really make the image. Also like the one of the girl carrying her track shoes.

Thanks Brian. Those poles in the sun light really caught my eye and the taped legs and the shoes were classic.

The shot of the taped legs and shoes might make a really nice black and white.

Thanks Gary. Her taped legs first caught my attention than I thought those shoes really tied it together. I seem to have lost a lot on quality in this post I'll have to check what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks you for the look and the comment susaan. The photographer in the photo would like it this way. She is a teacher at the high school and an excellent sports photographer but a little camera shy herself. She also is the mother of two of our star athletes.
