    Frosty Morn
Since getting the Nikon D700 full frame I haven't had much of a chance to give it a good test run. Thanksgiving morning I did get it out and shot a few frames in the backyard mostly of frost. Here are a few of the results. All were shot at ISO 400 hand held and with either the 105 or the new 24-120 VR.

After looking at those shots, I'm ready for the picture of your fireplace to warm up. I can tell you're having fun with your new camera and lenses--:D

    Keep 'em coming....

Thanks Penny. The good part was it was a frosty morning but the temp came up nice during the day and I was out in shirt sleeves later in the day.

Thanks susaan. I like the shape that little drop was freezing in but never really got the image of it that I wanted.

Thanks Jimmy. I want to get out some morning with the tubes and the tripod. I think frost is a perfect candidate for really close macros.

Thanks Brian and poodlenuts. It was nice to get out with no time constraints and attempt to be a little creative again.
