    Guardian of the Sofa

For Adina and other dog owners and lovers!

It is his house too. Bentley will share the sofa for company and friends. If you don't like dog hair, I've got this big Shop-Vac. Gaffer's tape wrapped around your hand inside out will remove fur harmlessly from just about anything!

    Meanwhile, the sofa needs guarding.

What a sweetie! Mine's not allowed on the couch, but he's definitely the guardian of my bed! I'll get up to go shower and by the time I come back to get ready for work, he's burried himself in the pillows looking at me like, "what?"

Everyone needs a job. Just be thankful he has chosen 'couch guarding' instead of 'remodeling' or 'interior irrigation/fertilization'. - TF

    Re: Guardian of the Sofa

This is one of the few larger dogs I've had that really likes being up on the sofa. I train them all to get down/off or 'floor' before they get the chance to spend time on the furniture.

I've had Rotts and Labs that got hot and like the floor better. A Rott owner I know tried locking their female in the garage one afternoon and she just promptly dismantled the door and came and sat on the porch waiting to be let back in the house.

Then there are drywall repair stories and the like. I've been quite fortunate to not have had many problems other than some puppy chewing over the years.

Great shots.. I also like the second one, almost as if he is saying, I know I shouldn't be up here but it is soooo comfortable.

As a current Rott owner and a former owner of two at the same time I know what you mean. The two of them owned the house, what was really funny was when someone came over and the both of them would race to the front door. You better be quick to move or find a soft spot to land on.
