    Flower pics
    Went today to a local greenhouse/nursery, to see if the manager would let me take some shots of the plants and flowers. He happily consented, so here are a few. The first one, I forgot to turn off "Auto sensitivity correction" custom function... ISO 800 was the result... :mad2: However, I think the noise is pretty well hidden, something that for sure would never have been possible with my FZ7K. :thumbsup:

    They are beautiful! Gives me a great idea too! I'm so bored with the cold, I want summer :D

    Some nice flower shots.
    Flowers are easy to shoot unless you want something that stands out from the crowd and yours do.

    Nice shots! Yep, can't see the noise in pic #1. Now I can't wait for the tulip fields here in WA to start blooming.

    Those are excellent shots, Alex. As Frog said, you did well not just getting your average flower shot.

    Thanks for the replies and comments, everyone. :)

    The last shot posted here I set the contrast and saturation options in the camera to "high". At default intensity, colors turned out quite flat-looking.
