    First night out
This is hard. I knew it would be, but it's still hard. Here's my favorite out of the 120 or so shots I took. Click the photo for the flickr set to see a few more.

    <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/9230540@N05/794851699/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1091/794851699_9f24d8a044_o.jpg" width="600" height="400" alt="IMG_0383" /></a>

    I like this one too:

    <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/9230540@N05/794824391/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1175/794824391_5bb646b4c7_o.jpg" width="600" height="453" alt="IMG_0212" /></a>

It's amazing the difference in quality between the 70-200 f/2.8 and the variable aperture 20-35. I have a nicer wide angle zoom that should be arriving in the mail tomorrow. The two I posted here were with the wide angle but check out the telephoto shots in the flickr set for a huge jump in quality.

On second thought, just look at this one...

Some of you might notice the special "gadget" used by one of those female riders.

Yes... the tatoos... used to create wind disturbances behind the rider throwing off all the other riders trailing her.

    Actually, I can't see a damn thing.

Haha - I was trying to work out what was wrong with the pic before I read your caption - then it dawned on me what I was looking at.

    Nice shots.

To help others not strain their eyes, it looks the one has an artificial left hand/forearm.

Only took me about five minutes to notice that, and photographers are supposed to be observant... I'm going with the ink as being a competitive advantage...

Good job, Trevor - any specialized (hey, a pun!) type of shooting will take practice to get the results that you want. Nothing wrong with these shots, but I'll be interested to see what you're doing after a few more times out!

I thought you would be racing!! Great shots, the track is hard because lighting is hard and you don't want to blind somebody with a fixed gear.

I raced for years against somebody with an artifical limb, on the track and the road. He was bad ass...

    Nice work Trevor..

But the real question Trevor, is are you still dancing?

Nice shots, I'm going with the ink theory as well.

Kelly, I've got your cd from the play, give me a call.
