    Which 500 Sigma is it? I'm think of gettign the 50-500.

    That lens is quite a nice lens! I have the 170-500 in nikon , but have seen many the D1X/F5 with a 50-500 mounted at zoos

    Thought that was a typo at first, but I've seen that lens... ;)

    Welcome to the site, neighbor! BTW, we have a gathering sometime in November in downtown Chicago. Nothing really structured, more like hang out and take photographs. I hate to admit it, but November's coming so we should probably start thinking about it...
