    MOON - 2010:12:20 21:29:28 - 5DII_4811A by groovehouse, on Flickr

Getting up at 7am for work as well as scattered clouds kept me in bed instead of behind the camera and tripod.

    Did you get any shots?

That's a beauty! What lens did you use? I assume there's a crop here?

Still going through the shots, but we had some gusty winds to complicate things so I'm not overly hopeful... Anyhow, here's the view from the Everglades @ 3:40a.m. ET shot with the S-5 and 300mm f/2.8 stopped down to f/4

Yes, big crop. It was shot with the Canon EF USM 75-300mm - f/4.0-5.6 - not a fancy lens at all. There was of course, some post-processing.

My feeble attempt at capturing the event with a 50% crop. We had serious cloud cover here, and then a small teaser break in the clouds prior to the eclipse. Got set up only to have the clouds roll back in, so we never got a chance to view it !
    C'est la vie.

    Sweet shot groovehouse!

I did not take any shots of it. Mid 20's kept me in bed.

Nice! I was wishing I was in Florida - I would have gone out and taken some pictures.
