Finally!!!!

I know I have not posted in a while, but I had to let the world know that I have finally got my first DSLR. It is a Nikon D60 and I am so excited I can barely contain myself. My little Nikon point and shoot will see a lot less action (although I could never get rid of it, it is a road warrior)It is amazing how much opens up with a DSLR. Ok I will quit raving....but look out world.

Congratulations on the new camera! I shot a lot with the Nikon D40x - more or less the same camera - a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed it. I especially liked carrying it with the 18-200 VR lens. That's a powerful, compact, do-it-all shooting kit. Looking forward to seeing photos from the new camera.
