    A few recent photos
    Hey folks,

I haven't posted anything new for a while so I thought I should throw a few photos up on the site.

The first few are of my grandson, Nathan, my daughters Melanie and Adrienne, and a family snap of Melanie, her husband Alex and Nathan. I took a trip to California about a month ago to visit them and was able to come back with some cute photos.

The other two are from an Alpaca farm near Tenino, Wa. I would love to have one of these as a pet but they cost anywhere from 8K to 20K! A little too pricey for me. :p

Beautiful family photo Ray. I think that an alpaca is a little out of my price range for a pet as well, but I agree they are cute little guys.

I didn't know anyone had alpacas as pets. Aren't they mostly used as pack animals, especially for mountain trails? Also wool!

Good to see you're still around, Schrackman. Are you still enjoying life in Washington?

Nice to see some of those family shots too......Nathan looks to be a happy guy!

Thanks OT! Yes, those Alpacas are cute, especially the little ones. And apparently they are not hard to care for, are very docile and don't spit at people like llamas do.

Thanks Frog! Yeah, Alpacas aren't really meant to be "pets" per se, they are mostly used for their wool. In South America is where they are used for pack animals, I believe.

As for Washington, I was liking it until Fall came around, lol. The only redeemable thing for the change of season will be the fall foilage that I have to get out and shoot here real soon.

Thanks Jeta! He melts my heart too every time I look at him. I brought my AB-800 and Octabox with me when I went to visit them. I placed the Octabox about a foot and a half away or so from above his face, which reduced shadows to almost nothing and gave some nice catchlights.

btw, I see you are located in the Pacific NW but where exactly?
