A few with my new lighting toy

My boss got a me a late Christmas present - A portable battery that I can use with my studio strobes. So I talked my wife into going out with me to try it out on some location shoots. She wasn't too excited, but she had fun anyway. All shot with a Interfit 300w strobe with a medium softbox as the main light. It was powered by a Tronix Explorer batter from Innovatronix.

Your lighting looks great! The last one especially. It looks very natural. And I know that's tough with artificial lighting. At least it is for me :)

The first & 2nd photos were taken at the same spot also.

The funny thing was we were a little off the freeway exit ramp, and a few minutes after we got there, a CHP pulled off the ramp, stopped for a few minutes, then turned away from us & set up a speed trap. I wasn't sure if he was gonna ask us to leave :) I did realize it has some great potential for photo shoots, especially since in the afternoon you'll have the sun be a perfect main light, or a hairlight depending on the way your model is facing.
