    Was feeling fruity tonight
So I shot some! I actually had leftover fruit from a party, haven't really shot fruit before, so here we go, played around, did a lot of slow shutters with an external flash, so many different settings! Took me about 2 hours to shoot and change things around to where I liked them, I have 300 more shots, but these were some of my faves.

BTW - this was done with my Canon Xsi and 3 different lenses, shutter was set between 10-15 seconds and i did external flash in various spots off my reflector to get the highlights where i wanted them.

    Nice shots...very sharp.
Beginners should note the amount of time and number of shots required to get what you wanted. It isn't just picking up, pointing and clicking.
What's that background in the last tow? Its interesting.

It's a pretty remnant cloth I picked up at the fabric store. I always pick up a yard of interesting remnants for product shoots, they make for pretty backgrounds!

I have a huge portable backdrop holder that works great for curtains on sale - which is perfect for portraits! Great money-saving tip there! LOL
