Seb you always manage to blow me away. I love the blue tones and the extension of the shadow in the lower part of the frame is a keeper IMHO. Keep it up your an inspiration.

    Lori,

Thanks for commenting, but I have to disagree, the shadow is a very important part of the composition.

    OT,

If you don't stop with the flattery I may just have to marry you... :D Thanks for the kind words.

Very nice moment,Seb. The mood is there. I notice a bright spot shining on the carpet in the fg. . .maybe an electrical outlet or something. I would clone it away.
    Always a pleasure . . .

Personally I think I'd leave it - this is what was there, in the moment, etc... Not that this makes it any more "right" or anything. Excellent shot as usual, you're right about the shadow and the light defining it on the carpet making it what it is.

About the shiny spot, I'm torn about that sort of stuff. I like love these sort of images because they're quickly caught moments, and I find it somehow more honest to leave them with their inherent imperfections. At the same time, it would help if it was removed...

Ultimately, l forget about it before I decide to keep it or change it and it stays as is.

    Oh well.

the shadow may be a good part of the image ...but i think that shiny thing on the floor needs to be cloned out, otherwise it looks great

    Seb.......what a great shot.

I agree with you.......it's subjective, but unless something in the frame is really a distraction, I'd leave it as is.......

    but......like I said, it's subjective. At any rate, it's a beautiful image.

What a fantastic shot. I think it's great the way it is. That's some fast glass you're shooting with.

I think he needs a size up on that shiney green shirt!

I like the shadow, and don't mind the shiny thing (the outlet, not the shirt), thought it was a spot of light at first.

I tend to agree a distracting object in a picture now might fit in perfectly 75 years from now. If that makes since? Anyway, Do you ever take a bad picture? I am not sure you have ever posted one I didn't like.
