    saturated photographer

The saturation coming down made for great colour in the Bay of Fundy, but also for a well-saturated photographer. The tide was coming in.

Thanks, Canuck and Axle, with lots of fog and mist, as well as what they call showers (20mm. of rain) the result is fast growing, very colourful vegetation. The soil is also full of iron oxide, which makes it very red.

Ah, that explains the unbelievable colours, really saturated red & green.
I like the many puns on saturation !

I've only got effects like this by screwing up ordinary photos in Photoshop
Must be wonderful to see that scenery, even in the rain.

Technique and composition are important, but I am also paying attention to shooting for colour too, whenever possible. Wet weather is perfect for that and lighting around ocean areas is constantly changing. As to the puns, its a part natural, part academic background in languages. Can't help myself, sometimes.

I learned quickly that adding saturation in Photoshop, only adds or makes colour noise and artifacts much worse, so I avoid that function.
