    Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting

Youngest started TaeKwonDo a few weeks ago. Yeah, I know there is a dumpster and a bike tire, but this is right after she got her first belt.

Congratulations to the little one. The martial arts are a great experience, and if she sticks with it, it will instill some self discipline and inner toughness that will last her a lifetime.

Now if you really want to impress her, tell her one of your photography friends is a black belt, as is his wife.

I've got a cousin who's a black belt as well. Started when he was about 8 or 9, and is now 19 or 20. His mom says now he has someone to spar with.

Re: Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting

What a cutie! My daughter was into it for a while and gave it up for dance. A few years back I told her she couild date as soon as she had her black belt like me and could shoot as well as some of the police officers I train with. Dammed it she didn't break three boards at 10 and qualify expert last summer at camp with a .22 single shot. Nothing like taking me at my word.

If will be a great confidence builder for her if she has a good instructor. Just tell her to try and have fun with it.
