Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

hminx, here is something I have always wondered, do you still call it Winter or is it Southern Summer. Our part of the world (Great White North - also known as Canada) will look like that in about 5 or 6 months, but then you probably won't have snow in five or six months(?)...

Yeah it is summer here, and snow never gets closer than the high ground about 30 km away. Next year plan to have3 summers in one calender year as we have a UK trip planned

    Re: Evening walk

I love the look of the trees in Australia, although one can get a lot of the effect by going to southern california. It seems that a lot of the east coast of australia reminds me of california as geography. Of course the experience of being there is different as one rarely encounters dead kangaroos (or as I call them Cant Garoos) in california.

Wish I could get back there soon. Hope to do a motorcycle circumnavigation of the continent some day...

"AUSTRAILA" Oh I say thats a bit harsh I'm in NEW ZEALAND Well really ( note staged melodrama )....
BTW I'm quite sure the three groups of trees are of ( L to R ) English, Austrailian, and American origin.
Only Kangaroos here are in zoos although we do have wallabies ( sort of a minature kangaroo ). lol
