    Down by the seashore...
    We recently returned from a 2 week road trip (with the dog - not the kids) in which we 'met' this gull. I don't know which photo I like better. Heck - maybe I should be asking opinions in the critique forum? Anyway - it was a great trip - we saw 8 states, 3 national parks and a 25 year class reunion!

    I think I like second one better and I am trying to figure out why..I think its because there is more in the background. That rock just off the coast looks very neat and I like seeing the horizon past the bird. Just seems to give the photo a bit more to me. They are both great shots tho! BTW... we just moved here to Va from Port Orchard Wa back in Aug last year. :) Beautiful state. I miss it.

    I agree that WA is a beautiful state. We saw a lot on our trip but agreed that our own state is still our favorite!!!! Thank you for your comments. If you decide why you like the second photo let me know!
