I bought a cheap nomex balaclava, not that I expect to need the protection, just that it helps preserve the helmet form sweaty driver.

The OP is Olivier Panis, bought as surplus from the Honda F1 race team.
Didn't make any difference to my driving :)

Though I do see a bad case of helmet hair in the reflected s.p. :(
And a dead fly smear on the helmet ...

Hopefully you won't need that protection but I find Nomex pretty miserable to wear as it gets warm!

Of course it beats the Niki Lauda look . . .

Niki got out of it pretty well, saw him in Barcelona.
Plus Angie met Lucas and Mathias this year, got a load of stuff signed by Niki too
