Did you get blasted with snow this weekend? Post it here

We got around 18 inches by Sunday morning, another 1-2 by Sunday night, and it's snowing again.
    I sleep, but I don't rest.

We didn't but the forecast is calling for snow, but you are use to snow, here one inch stops the city for one day, the drivers play bumper cars for the day. The second day it's safe to drive.

    one more...

Yeah, we're used to snow, but this was a lot all at once, so we were pretty shut down as well. It's really wet and heavy, as opposed to light and fluffy.

Wow - we got almost nothing (and not too far away). I don't remember exactly where you're at, but with the wind direction if you are close to the lake that's what happened. Pretty nasty here but it didn't accumulate. Shoveling the 2" of slush on the driveway yesterday did a number on my back...

We had quite a bit at one time, then we got RAIN.

Then more snow, then freezing rain, and now theres probably about 5 inches of snow in most parts of the yard.

We're about 20 minutes northwest of Milwaukee. My parents, who are about 30 feet from Lake Michigan, got about 3 inches.

The worst part is when it melts, our yard turns into a swamp.

We got around a foot or so here over the weekend. It started out light and fluffy on Friday night. Then Saturday afternoon it turned wet and heavy. It snowed most of the day today too. Here are some pics from my walk with my girls today after work.

This is Holley, taking a rest on our walk.

This is Jinjer looking at something in the woods. The wet snow realy sticks to her long fur.

We didn't get too much here, 4-5ish in. but thats about the most that we've had all winter so it seemed a good amount. Heres a few of the shots that I got while I was out tromping around afterwards.

This last one was better to see in person, the snow was almost ready to fall off the branch but was still just hanging on.

So much for that theory... Weather isn't an exact science, you know...
