    Dawn, Midday, and Dusk

    Vickers Vimy
    Battle of Britain memorial flight
    Avro Vulcan

    Three bombers the only flying examples.
    Though the Vimy is a replica, built to re-make the transatlantic flight and then on to Australia.
    The Lancaster is the only flying airframe in the UK. I think one in Canada flew this year.
    The Vulcan is the last and only flying example.

    All this progress from 1919 to 1942 to 1953.

    Really nice shots Wombat! Especially like the Vimy. I have a few shots on film of that Lancaster from RAF Fairford back in 2003 - she still looks great.

    This is the Vimy's last flying weekend, she's going into retirement at Brooklands museum.

    Great to see the Valcan airborne, I thought it was grounded due to financial woes.
