The crop loses some of the reflection, does it matter?

No,it doesn't matter in this case. The crop is a cleaner shot. There does seem to be s light imbalance from side to side though as the right side has a space between the tower and the edge of the frame that the left side does not. Judging from all the shots, looks like you had one hell of a trip :)

I agree.. I think the crop looks much better. Very cool place! Great shot :)
