Crocodile Man...

Not sure if you've all heard but the Crocodile Man (alias Steve Irwin) from Australia died yesterday morning during a shooting of a documentary in Cairns North QLD. Apparently a Stingray whipped him on the chest and the poison caused a heart attack. The medical team were not able to get to him quick enough and he died!

Very sad as he was one of my fav presenters of wildlife. We actually met him in person. He wrapped a giant python around my son's neck many years ago at his zoo. My son was always a keen wildlife person (In particular snakes) and always wanted to be like Steve and have a zoo. We opted for a single children's python instead!!

I seen this on MSN home page, http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=232667&GT1=7703. They said that it pierced under his ribcage and into his heart. I always liked to watch his show with his wife. Must have been really cool to meet him in person. He will be missed.
