How to water your lawn in Washington

Here someone in little ol' Wilkeson over watered their lawn and caused some minor catastrophe throughout the town.
We faired much better than some communities though.

First the guilty party's place....note they had their boat ready
    second the overflow
    cleaning the drains
    taking shelter

Honey, didn't we used to have a yard?

Almost just like Chehalis last year. Coming home from Spokane today you would not believe how many huge, huge Waterfalls have popped up along Snoqualmie pass.

Thanks for sharing Frog, Jimmy B.

Yeah it really doesn't get too bad here. I've only seen the creek higher once a few years ago.
That property for sale is actually two small lots and I'm thinking I'll print up a few of those to stick in their property description box to show potential owners what they're getting into.
Hope your Index friend is ok, Jimmy.
No waterfall shots, Ray? Of course I don't think there's many places along I-90 I'd want to stop either.

    Oh wow Frog. That's unreal.

I know my hubby found his parking lot at work under 1-2 feet of water yesterday. Luckily, he didn't park there, but normally does.

Frog. No there isn't very many plaes to stop along I90 I was swearing man why isn't there a place to stop for this fall or that fall. I did find this fall at the first exit west of the Summit it is along Look Out Point Road. This falls is hardly ever running.

All I can say is that I'm glad we live in the city on the top of a hill. I feel sorry for those people that are stuck there as it can't be easy to sell your home when it floods regularly.

Like the falls, Ray. Makes me wonder what they usually look like....prolly a little trickle.
I think they only try to sell in the summer, tadrscin. And they have to pay higher taxes for that creek front property too.

Hey Frog and folks my friends in Index made it through fine. The water came up close to the house, but didn't make it in! Here is a shot of Denny from Index,Wa. He is a Nikon shooter.

Oh my goodness Frog! Flooding definitely is not cool. Isn't it weird how the weather works? We're dying for rain in California and it floods up there! Just not fair! I swear if we don't get a ton of snow this winter I'm going to be mad! We need it so we won't be in a drought all summer! Haha!
