Country USA 2009 - Wednesday Night

Wow..its been a long time since I've posted around here. I haven't really had much time for photography.

These pictures are from Country USA in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The performers of note on Wednesday night were Jimmy Wayne and Taylor Swift. Both put on pretty good shows. Taylor Swift had very high production values with multiple costume changes (including 2 onstage).

Lighting proved to a be a bit of a challenge between the giant digital display, stage lights, and the spotlights. Thankfully, both of these shows were after the sun set, so I didn't have to worry about that.

All of the pictures were taken with a Canon EOS 20D and a 70-200L lens. ISO settings and shutter speeds varied.

There are bonus points if you can guess which songs she was singing when I took the pictures.

Wow! It looks like it was quite the show. I wish I could have been there. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

ETA: First set of photos "You Belong with Me", second set of photos "White Horse" and third set "Love Story"? I don't know about the last set, with the drums and rain. I was going to guess the song she did with Pickler, because of the other female singer, but that wasn't her release...
