    Re: Congratulations PR.com!!!

I see many of the ones listed higher are more "fun" type sites and in general they are not 'categorized' so I still think this site is number 1 for its format.
Now what did I do with that fireworks and bands playing animated gif.

Thanks for posting the link MIke. I disagree with their ratings. I have been to all of the 21 listed above PR.com
None of them offer what PR.com offers in one package.

As a new dslr owner that wants to learn about equipment, get problems fixed, share photos, get positive feedback, and just talk with others about photography
PR is tops in my book.

Not just 'fun' but different focus too. Technical reviews, reference, compared to photo sharing sites are different corners of the universe.

There also seems to be a definite skew towards users/visits as well.

I agree, with this mix we should be No. 1 with all we have to offer. There sure is much variety among services offered on the websites included in the top 100..

What in the world is B&H and Adorama doing there?

Very cool indeed to be so high on the list. As I also agree with others about the place on the list PR comes in at, still better to be on the list then not be included at all.

    Re: Congratulations PR.com!!!

I don't care for Flickr. Its heavy MySpace ethos bugs me. I will stop by once in a great while, though, to see what the latest Thomas Hawk clone is up to.

There are lots of legitimately amazing photographers on Photo.net (aka Home Of The Drive-By Rating System). But try squeezing a useful critique out of anyone there. You might have more luck getting Annie Leibovitz on the horn and asking her.

Interesting list to see, though. Thanks for posting. And congrats to PR, of course, but I agree that it should have been ranked higher.
