Got you beat. I RAN two miles last night! Planning on moving up to three miles next week. :-)

And I am truly hoping to make the Chi Town Gathering this year. We'll see.

    Ack!

If you make it you'll have to carry everyone's gear just so we can keep up!

    :-)

Dream on. My camera backpack weighs about 15 pounds when fully loaded. :-O

That's when I stuff the K1000 in, along with two lenses and a flash. Along with my Nikon gear - N80, flash, three lenses, filters, etc. It adds up. That's why the K1000 and accessories usually reside in my old shoulder bag.

If I make it, my presence should be sufficient motivation to keep up. I'm much better looking than my photo's show! ;-)

Have a great day, and keep at the treadmill.

One more post and I make 300
    I'm setting mini-goals, so that 1000 doesn't seem overwhelming.

Baby steps... Congrads on the 300! Let's see, how long ago did I get there :D ?

Speed, Penny (and Gene?) - it would be great to see all of you in Chicago. Actually, meet you all! There's always more to do than there is time for, and the group was pretty laid back last year. Well, it was really laid back last year but sounds like we'll set up a few things beforehand this year.

"And a haughty spirit before a fall."

This is the correct quote. It is often mis-quoted as "Pride goeth before a fall".

Yesterday I was bragging about my running ability. Last night I fell at karate - onto a concrete floor! Landed on my hip and elbow. I will NOT be running tonight, as I had planned. Hurumph! That will teach me! OK, no more bragging from me about my athletic prowess.

But I am better looking than my photo's show! ;-)
