Compatibility of Magento extensions

What key technical aspects should be considered when choosing extensions for Magento2 in order to ensure the stability of the store, avoid possible conflicts between modules, and ensure correct integration with already installed functions?

I still haven't come to a clear conclusion, because each module may behave differently in different conditions. I tried to study compatibility, read the descriptions, but still there is a feeling that a lot can only be understood in the process.

When I was looking for ways to make the store more functional, I came across the fact that many modules may simply not fit together. For me, as a regular user, it all looked too difficult to install something and then check if anything was broken. But when I started using the services on the amasty site website, everything seemed to work by itself. Everything is so well-established with them that the modules are installed calmly, nothing conflicts, everything works smoothly together. I didn't even have to figure out exactly how they do it — I just gave them the task, and they implemented everything the first time, without any problems.
