    Guarding Filbert

An old one I've come back to several times... and finally I've hit a grand.

Nice catch, love the way the stairs lead the view through the image to the dog. Grads on the 1000. No small feat!
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

*Laugh* I thought it was a bear at first. Great shot though, neat staircase!

Congrats on the 1000 by the way!

Reb, this has a strong , timeless feeling to it. The b&w and the diffused lighting (or so it appears) lend to the mood. The pooch at the top of the stairs adds alot as well.
    Congrats on the Grand!

    Re: Guarding Filbert

That doesn't look like a filbert, it looks like a dog ! Good contrasty b/w and the stairs make the shot winding back and forth across the middle. Nice use and appreciation of the fall of light across this scene. Sounds like a familiar place, and I think I've seen these stairs before?

Fine selection for the 1-0-0-0 and congrats!
