Change the Channel, Honey

Yesterday in critique I posted some shots that included a BW that was just the blue channel from a shot. Since I and some of the others think it makes a pretty good shot, I was wondering whether there might be some other blue channel only conversions worth looking at. Look around in your own shots and post anything you find interesting here.

nope, I got nuthin'. I think you need a few things to make a good "blue channel" conversion:

1) an awesome composition
2) a simple subject
3) fantastic lighting
4) a picture heavy in greens and reds


Since I don't take very many closeup shots of simple things, I didn't find too many good channel conversions. Some of my images looked better in the red or green channel, but none of them were fantastic enough to post here.

Nice shots Chunk. I'm loving this whole blue channel thing, never even thought about it before I saw your pics. I agree with kelly though, those four points would help drastically in a blue channel conversion.
