Thanks Frog. I had a late Dr's appointment in Atlanta today. The trafiic is really bad from about 4-6. So my son and I headed for Centennial Olympic Park until the traffic cleared. I hope to be doing more stuff there.

I saw a lot of that in Atlanta Javier. Nice place to visit but... You know the rest.

Re: Capture a Stranger
This image I have printed and hung on my wall as a reminder to me, that the homeless fellow in the street could easily be me...My Son and I have tried to make it out weekly to go feed a family we befriended at one of the Parks. We go there once or twice a week and take them food, blankets, what ever we can with in our means. Even this fellow, we bought a meal for..While it is only one meal and we can only do so much, a one time gesture sometimes is a lifetime of blessings for some...
I have made many friends in the streets over the years and I will tell you what. you should see their faces light up when I present them of pictures of themselves...
Let me back track. When I first started going out street shooting, my eyes where opened up to world often seen but ignored. After a while I would go out with food to hand out.. (money is not a good thing to give away, as it causes problems) then I would take the occasional snap shot of one, then another and another. I would go home and print them and put them in cheap little frames...I take them back to those folks and give them a picture of themselves and I remind them that they are people and are not junk..That they do matter...To see how happy they get to see a picture of themselves is a blessing...Usually, I look for family's with kids and or the women to help first...
Anyway, that image reminded me of what a blind world we live in. Even after we gave that fellow a bottle of water and a couple of king taco, tacos, those other two folks kept on going about there business in Ritzy old town Pasadena...Now I am not knocking those two folks, or anyone for that matter..Not all are called to do this, but I do feel we can all help in a little way...but I digress..
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but just to share the story of this picture...

There was a trash can there. In the printed version, I left it in, but this was a quick clone (bad) job. My PP skills stink, so I need to hope my image is good to begin with.

Re: Capture a Stranger
I know Javier. I gave every last dime a had away that day and even a bag of Choclate candy bars. I even cleaned out my ash tray of change. But I don't always carry a lot of cash with me anyway. I saw one take some money though and head for a gambling machine in a store too. But I agree helping others is the way to be.
