The butterfly on her sweater is priceless. I'm sure she doesn't have a clue.

Looks like it but actually she did because I told her. She was standing right next to me when it landed. I pointed it out to her and her friend and I both stepped back at the same time to shoot. I had to stand back farther because I had only the 85mm with me.
Shot at ridiculous settings (ISO 1000, 1/4000s) because I had it set for shooting flying butterflies. Not stationary people :p
Thanks for looking, Frog.

Yep! It was the first time I went out to find some photo ops. It does do a good job.

Re: Capture a Stranger
While attending Super Run in Henderson a few years back, I was going to get a shot of George's T Bucket as we drove by. Just as I was trying to frame the car, this lady decided to stop right in the way. I reframed once again to include all of her as opposed to just body parts which IMO would have spoiled the shot. Here's the result. :ihih:

Re: Capture a Stranger
The South Sound Meetup group had an outing today to a local bulb farm.
This gal showed up with her family and had her kids well trained to pose for her.
In this one she was counting to three and then they jumped up from behind the screen with arms up and woo-hooing. I caught this when she was at two.

Haha, Greg, that is a great catch. The boots really add to the attitude of the photo... love it.
Javier - excellent use of perspective there!
