Kelly, I didn't mean for anyone to change their screen name at all, siggy is probably best anyways (and how in the heck do you change your screen name?! I haven't figured that one out yet!). I agree it should be kept pretty low key as far as membership and chieftenship is concerned. Sorry if it sounded like that.

The nice thing Ray, is that being the Clan O'Canon, you can be any number of things. You can be a selkie, a leprechaun, a pixie, a griffin, or any number of other wee strange beesties. Have fun with it people!

I probably came across kinda "brusque", although that was not my intention at all. I'm just tired and fighting a sore throat, and was too weary to think about happy phrasing. I'm cool with it all.

Sorry, I felt the urge to steal that seal. I really like it. haha. I plan on making my own in a little while, but for right now this is awesome

I think the general consensus is that clan o'canon should be informal without any real rules, just a simple association. I don't really mind either way.

Folks, this whole O'Canon thing and your logo are seriously clever! Who came up with the logo idea??? Perhaps it's time for me to replace my D70 for the IDs MK2 ;)

Schrackman made it, and freely offered it to anyone to use.

Man, that was actually a joke. I am aware that their are several reasons why the 1Ds MK2 is 10 time pricier than my D70...

Anyway, the thing is that my D70 is mine, so it holds serious value. Who wouldn't have my D70???? C'mon, you know you want it!

De nada, folks. Like I said, I just threw this one together. I can actually put some effort into it and make a similar but nicer one if you all like. Me and my Illustrator 10 program are at your command.

    I like It

    schrackman-
I like the "colors" just fine, as-is. What I really want, is to see what the Nikon faithful will come up with in retaliation.

And what about the Pentax, Olympus, Fuji, Konica Minolta, Contax, and Leica users. Where's your pride, photographers! Step up and proclaim your alliance.

In a nice way, of course. ;)

I think the logo is fine Ray. It has a nice non-Nikon feel about it. I can't wait to see what they do with this one!

As for those other camera users, step out guys!! Actually I think that Leica users would be the most creative in this department. I mean after all, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Co.? The Leica Luminaries. It has a certian ring about it. They are after all, older and wiser than us Canon and Nikon users. Go for it!

Question Re: Canon User Club Name Poll

I thought I read a post somewhere on how to copy this logo - and keep it on the posts?

I can't find it - probably scrolled through too fast, but can someone link me to it? Thanks.

I just bought a Canon A85 P&S. Does this mean that I can be both a Samurai and part of the Canon Clan? ;) ;)
