Great visuals.

Greg - did you really take the camera (and Ruffus) for a spacewalk?

Can I get on this?
There seems to be a HUGE hole in the midwest and west, that needs to be filled!
Am I late?

Sure you can. Since Gary has already made the maps we were going to add people at the end that signed up late. But that looks like the midwest anyway. I extended the cut off date until the 15th. But honestly I hope I never get the camera back. I hope it stays out for quite awhile. If you want in I will add your name.

Awesome work Gary! I wonder, is it going to be easy to add more people in the future to the route?

If anybody else wants to sign up for the Camera Around the World project please click here. I am going to unstick that thread to clean up the top of the VF a little bit. I hope we get even more signed up!

Thanks again, Greg and Gary!

Rick,
thanks. I'm going to squeeze Brian in after you. . he will be 37b. So you will send it to him, and he will send it to ken in odessa TX. I would have edited it like that but my edit functions are gone for this thread. anyone else joining from here on will be placed towards the end, after Greg gets it back. Greg can send it off to whoever wants it afterwards.

Gary - This is probably jumping the gun, but I work in the World Financial Center, so I could probably bridge/tunnel over to Brooklyn and get it to you. (I'm one of those annoying people who plans ahead. I'll shut up now.)

Megan, even better, I work in the city. I am based uptown, but I'm sure we could arrange to meet somewhere in the city ( I could most likely meet you in the financial district on my way in). We could meet during lunch or what ever works best for you. We'll figure something out and save you the trip into Brooklyn
btw, I like people who plan ahead.

Great work on all who have been planning this...I can't wait to get my hands on the camera...I've had recent practice shooting a flat stanley project for my granddaughter in Wisconsin, so I have already found some great places to shoot. Have fun all...

Actually, no we have never really even communicated with each other before. We are both on forums that neither one of us really pop up on too often.
When you look at the map, your really not all that far away from us . . . .you know :)

I can understand that, I mean I hear that NYC is quite the LARGE city...
 :D :p
I mean the population of NYC is bigger than the whole population of Utah, geographically Utah is the bigger of the two, weighing in around 82000 square miles.
In some ways you're right, it really is a "small world afterall", but in many other ways it's pretty damn big!
I hope one day to get to yours and Megan's fair metropolis and meet the both of you either together or indivually.
Make sure you post some pics of the hand off, with the three of you!
You, Megan and Rufus!
Brian

Re: Camera Around the World(Route and Maps)
The camera just arrived in Wyoming. It was originally going to be Fairbanks, AK, but since it took a little time to get here, and I spend my winters here...
Now where to take Rufus?

Re: Camera Around the World(Route and Maps)
Gary, please make sure you remove me (#36) as I no longer live in Banning, CA. I'm now in Vader, WA, so that puts me up the list to #31, since I am south of Jimmy B and north of Freygr.
