    anyone have any ideas about camera adverts that are printed in newspapers/magazines?
    links to where to find adverts? what features are in camera adverts? etc anything would help and be greatly appreciated.

    I'm not sure what you're asking for here.

    Are you looking for info on camera advertising, or are you looking for a camera?

    But what is the purpose of your question - are you looking to purchase a camera or are you doing a study for an advertising class? ;-) Best buy has tons of ads, circuit city, B&H has ads on this site.... what specifically are you looking for? Maybe if we knew the purpose we can better help you?

    im creating a camera advert (assignment) and need examples of camera adverts (print ads such as magazines and newspapers)
    also to know what features are on camera adverts, what they contain, how they are presented etc etc
    along the lines of the above

    Check out Outdoor Photographer, Popular Photography, Shutterbug, or any other photography/camera related magazines. Also, if you have a B&H catalog, that will have multiple items, in a different format from the standard advertisements.

    Happy cynical Monday. Yes, there is a lot more to chosing a camera (or a store) than price and MP but that seems to be the two major points that marketing depts try to get across. Especially with major retailers like Circuit City and Best Buy. Calumet Photo regularly sends out sale catalogs, and they're a little more in depth - because their audience is different (adv amateur to pro).

    I guess that's an important point - who is your audience?
