Well, that gave me a big grin. Thought I was looking at my own dog for an instant and wondered what the heck she'd been up to when I was asleep.
    Aussie's are great dogs.
Does yours cross its paws when lying prone?

Great indeed. No better combination of intelligence, loyalty, athleticism, and obedience IMO.

Mine uses his paws like hands. He'll not only cross them but will hold a nylabone straight up so he can chew it easier. Not content to just fetch a ball the old fashion way, he will use his paws to return a tennis ball "soccer style" and then pounce on it with both paws at the last second to make the ball shoot back. He's now starting to retrieve a ball with just his nose while holding a nylabone in his mouth.

I've met a lot of people who either had or have an Aussie and have not heard of even one negative experience - that's an amazing testament. I've heard breeders refer to aussies as "velco dogs" because they are so attached to their owners.

Attached indeed a bit too much for my taste but we're both learning still.
She doesn't have quite as much of a fit if I close the bathroom door on her anymore.

Mine loves empty plastic 2 litre bottles which she bats around with her paws and fetches.
I have noticed that she uses her paws a lot more than other dogs I've known.
