    Fun with my 400 f5.6L

Don't use this lens much, but I dusted it off a few times in the last two weeks.
My daughter at Sunrise Beach in Monterey and a pelican in San Diego.

Nice pelican shot! If you're not using this lens much anymore, I know several people in the N/W forum who'd probably help solve that problem.

    Thanks for sharing.

I'm sure there would be a few who'd be happy to exercise this lens more often :-)
I'd love to have its bigger siblings (400 f2.8L IS, 400 f4 DO IS) but I don't use this length much, so it gets the job done for me for the few times I need a 400mm.
A few more 400mm shots, these have been post processed and cropped (the previous ones were straight re-size jobs).

Nice photo's Leon. The the two of your daughter are precious. Love her expression in the last one. Nice catch. Those pelicans should be over on the N/W forum nice job on them. I'd love to have some longer glass but just can afford or justify what I would like to get.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
