    Black-bellied whistling duck

    These landed in a dead tree I use as a focal point in my backyard. I got this one in the AM. I shot others the evening before.

    Beautiful shot! You really captured the beauty of this creature! It looks like he/she posed for you.....very sharp and the color is perfect.

    Thank you Liz. I was pleased as I haven't been shooting Canon equipment very long and still getting a feel for settings. I had managed to get under another tree which is seen in the foreground to hide myself and get closer.
