Best Friends: Glamour PG-13 (no nudity)

From Monday's photo shoot - these gals are roommates and best friends. They wanted to do a glamour shoot together. I couldn't say no.

Very nice and professionally done. The girl in the first photo looks familiar. Have you poster a photo of her before?

Nope - this was my first session with her. I've been trying to talk her into doing a shoot for about 5 weeks now. She did great and I hope to use her again.

Beautifully done Andy!! Some very tasteful images of two very attractive young women. It is so easy to let shoots like this digress to cheesecake or worse (you have not). IMHO you have done an outstanding job of capturing their spirit and youthfulness. I wish I had your talent in the studio in regards to posing and lighting. Well done.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks folks. Just as a side note. I did not choose any of the outfits for this session. In fact, I about fell over dead when the blond walked out in a bikini with leather biker chaps. These two definitely had an IDEA of what THEY wanted. I'll meet with them on Friday. I hope they got it.

Great shots! How did you setup your lighting for http://www.476design.com/cb/Carrie/s...arrie-070.jpg?

I see light on her face that doesn't seem to project to the background. I like the look!

It was like this Arctirus - the shadows were far away and fell mostly off the paper.

Beautiful job Andy. Are you using any kind of soft box or umbrella, or just the reflectors?

LOL! It's not as glamorous as it seems, Todd, but thanks. I spent 5 weeks working on the blond to get her in front of the camera. And sadly, now that I know how good she IS in front of the camera, I want her back right away. It's a never-ending cycle, really.

I will say this to those of you who want to shoot this type of stuff. It takes perserverance and a portfolio. Don't be afraid to approach a beautiful woman (person) and ask to take their picture. They just might say yes.
